Welcome to Surf + Soul — a luxury coastal retreat where adventure, restoration, and togetherness meet, just 950 feet from the Atlantic on North Carolina’s Crystal Coast. With 4 bedrooms, 3 en-suites, 2 living spaces, a vast upper floor deck, an indoor gym, and a fabulous outdoor area with private pool and spa, there’s plenty of room to gather your favorite people and 4-legged friends for a vacation you won’t forget.

The stairs by the side of the house lead you straight up to the deck - one of many fabulous hangout spaces at Surf + Soul! Take a book and curl up on the shaded daybed, start your morning with your favorite yoga routine, and spend evenings chatting by the fire as the sun sets in front of the house.

The deck leads you to the screened porch with an 8-seat dining table and 2 hanging chairs - just walk right out from the kitchen and sit back with that first cup of coffee in the morning.

Inside, you enter the open main living space – a bright, welcoming space designed for connection. The living room has a large sectional, a 65” Roku Smart TV, a fireplace, and a shuffleboard - a perfect place to catch up with loved ones.

The dining table seats 8 people, and the large kitchen island has 4 additional bar seats. The fully stocked kitchen makes home cooking easy with high-end appliances, an induction cooktop, and ceramic Caraway cookware for clean, easy cooking. Plus, the open layout allows for the chefs in the group to socialize while preparing meals! Your four-legged family members are welcome here too - we have dog food bowls, an extra leash, and some toys for your pup.

The hallway leads you to the three upstairs bedrooms. All bedrooms at Surf + Soul have a Roku Smart TV and bedside charging stations and come with complimentary bath products. Be sure to stop at the Emerald Isle Bucket List and see how many boxes you can check off by the end of your stay! A laundry closet with washer and dryer is also tucked along the hallway for added convenience.

Down the hallway, you will find the Shoreline King Suite and the Saltwater + Sunsets Queen Suite, both with full en-suite bathrooms and gorgeous walk-in, tiled showers with luxury fixtures. At the back of the hallway is the expansive Oyster King Suite complete with an office area, full bathroom with double vanity, and private balcony overlooking the pool area.

Downstairs is where the fun really begins! Mix up drinks at the bar, settle in for a movie, or challenge your crew to classic arcade games — from Ms. Pac-Man and Galaga to Golden Tee and more.

This level is also home to the Seashell Queen Suite, a spacious fourth bedroom with two queen beds, ideal for kids, another couple, or guests who appreciate a little extra privacy. Just outside the suite is an adjacent full bath with a tiled shower/tub combo and upscale fixtures, offering the same thoughtful comfort found throughout the home.

If movement is part of your ideal getaway, head into the garage gym for a workout. This is not your typical rental gym — it’s a thoughtfully outfitted training space for everything from strength work to conditioning or a quick sweat before the beach. And when you’re done, recovery is just steps away. The gym includes free weights and kettle bells, an exercise bike, a rowing machine, an extra fridge for easy access to cold drinks and a TV so you can put on your favorite online workout class!

Step outside the sliding doors from the lounge and settle into your own backyard oasis. Move between the pool, spa, and cold plunge, or relax in the shade after rinsing off in the outdoor shower. You can even draw the curtains for extra shade, creating a true luxury spa feel. Whether it’s a casual cookout on the grill or a slow afternoon in the sun, this space is designed to help you unwind.

— OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE —

RENTAL AGREEMENT: Upon booking, you will receive a rental agreement to review within 24 hours. Once this agreement is electronically signed, your booking will be finalized.

PARKING: Ample parking is provided in the driveway for four or more vehicles. Please note that parking in the garage is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of your stay. Parking on Periwinkle Drive or neighboring streets is also not permitted.

PETS: Up to two housebroken, non-aggressive dogs, each weighing 50b or less, are welcome at Surf + Soul. You are required to disclose the breed, age and weight of each dog and to clean up after your pets (i.e., picking up waste from property grounds). You must also follow several ‘common sense’ house rules shared in our rental agreement (e.g. not allowed on furniture or in pool/spa, etc.). Additional pet fees apply.

POOL: The 14' x 28' saltwater pool is maintained at a minimum temperature of 82 degF at no additional charge from April through October.

GOLF CART: There is a 4-seater golf cart included in your rental at no additional charge. You must follow the Town of Emerald Isle’s rules and regulations at all times when operating the golf cart. You are responsible for any and all damages resulting from your use of the golf cart.

BICYCLES: Access to 4 Jamis Taxi beach cruiser bicycles is provided in your rental at no additional charge. There are two sets of ‘his and her’ adult bikes.

WHOLE HOUSE GAS: The propane gas tank supports the fireplace, tankless hot water heater, grill and fire table. The tankless water heater means you’ll never run out of hot water!

SECURITY CAMERAS/NOISE DETECTION: There are 3 exterior cameras on the property for guest safety – one at the first floor garage door, one at the second floor entry door and one under the front deck facing the driveway. There is also one noise detection devices on the property located inside in the main living area.

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
